प्रधान मंत्री जन धन योजना का उदेश देश के नागरिक को अपने पास जितनी भी बचत है उतनी बचत में अकाउंट खोले इसका मतलब की जीरो बैंक अकाउंट. इस योजना की सबसे महत्पूर्ण बात ये है की Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana के अंतर्गत जीरो बैलेंस अकाउंट खोल स

आंकड़ों के अनुसार गरीबी रेखा के निचे गुजर-बसर करने वाले भारतीयों के पास बैंक अकाउंट नहीं थे. इस बात को ध्यान में रख कर केंद्र सरकार द्वारा भारतीयों को बैंकिंग की सुविधा प्रदान करने के लिए प्रधान मंत्री जन धन योजना को चालू किया गया.

आंकड़ों के अनुसार गरीबी रेखा के निचे गुजर-बसर करने वाले सभी नागरिको के पास बैंक अकाउंट नहीं थे. इसलिए केंद्र सरकार द्वारा इन सभी नागरिको को बैंकिंग की सुविधा प्रदान करने के लिए प्रधान मंत्री जन धन योजना की शरुआत की है .ताजा न्यूज़ में केंद्र सरकार ने जारी किया है की जून महीने में प्रधानमंत्री जन धन योजना के सभी ;लाभार्थी के बैंक अकाउंट में 500 रुपये की सहायता जमा हो जाएंगी।

आप इस योजना के साथ जुड़ना चाहते है तो आपके पास आधार कार्ड/आधार संख्या उपलब्ध है तो दूसरे कोई दस्तावेज की आवश्यक नहीं है. यदि आपके के पास आधार कार्ड नहीं है तो निचे दिए गए दस्तावेजों में से किसी एक की आवश्यकता होंगी।
